Welcome to Warsash Sailing Club on the River Hamble

Located at the entrance of the Hamble River, at the heart of UK sailing with easy access to the Solent. It has two sites each with a clubhouse. The Shore House clubhouse has fabulous views of the water-borne activities and it is supported by a full social and educational programme. The Lobster Quay Clubhouse, new in 2006 provides showers, changing and training facilities.

The success of WSC is due to its balanced membership and activities, with members cruising and racing in boats from dinghies to the largest blue water yachts.

With over 1500 members nearly all areas of marine expertise are represented within the Club which effectively means that help and advice is always readily available.

For those Kippers aged 8-14, fun afloat under control of qualified instructors in club provided boats allows children to learn sailing and boatmanship in a most enjoyable manner.

The Club is proud of the achievements of its members which include multiple World Champions, Olympic sailors, Round the World Racers, even Americas Cup Skippers are all to be found at WSC. We also have several members in National Squads, including the Women's Squads.

Over 200 dinghies are kept in the two boat pounds, during the summer there is handicap racing on Wednesday and Friday evenings with up to 50 boats taking part. We also hold racing on Saturday afternoons when there is a high tide around 16:00. During the winter racing takes place on Sunday mornings.

For those of you who want larger boat sailing there are well over 300 keel boats registered in the Club. The strong cruising and racing programme includes a popular Thursday evening pursuit series, club class racing and cruising in company within the Solent and to distant locations.

The Club is host to the UK's premier early season regatta, The Warsash Spring Series, with over 250 high quality entrants.

Naturally there is ample opportunity for those who wish to make the transition from dinghy sailing to keel boats, in the best possible manner.
