Facilities

Shore House is the main club building with fantastic views over the mouth of the River Hamble. It is a two storey building that houses our administration facilities together with the Main Hall, River Room, two bars one on each floor, and a restaurant.

Shore House Pound is adjacent to the club house. It accommodates dinghies, tenders and keelboats/trailer sailers.

Shore House jetty is opposite the main building. The jetty may only be used by yachts belonging to members and to bona fide visitors to the Club who are visiting the Club to use the bar and catering facilities. A maximum of three visitors’ yachts is permitted; yachts may raft up to three abreast. RIBs may not moor on the main pontoon, however there is a RIB & Tender pontoon adjacent to it. Parts of the pontoon are reserved for the club launches and motor boats.

Lobster Quay is the original location of the club. It now comprises of our changing facilities and training room.

Lobster Quay Pound includes a RIB & Outboard shed as well providing space for dinghies & tenders and racks for SUPs and Kayaks. The pontoon at Lobster Quay offers launching at all states of the tide. Its use is exclusively for members and temporary members of the club taking part in dinghy sailing activities, Club safety boats and members’ yacht tenders. Members’ yachts and motor boats, up to 10 metres overall length or 6 tonnes gross, may use Lobster Quay for periods not exceeding one hour for picking up or dropping off a tender or crew or stores, but only when this does not conflict with dinghy sailing activities.
